Henry Kwek, CEO

Prior to cofounding Cerulean Capital with Alan Chen, Henry was involved in management consulting with McKinsey and Company in North America, as well as doing economic development with the Singapore Economic Development Board. Henry serves on the Board of Advisor for the Watch Fund Pte Ltd.

Beyond developing investment models, Henry specialises in macroeconomics and geopolitical analysis for Cerulean Capital. He is a frequent speaker at economic forums organised by think tanks and international organisations such as the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy’s Asia-Competitive Institute, the World Bank, Singapore Pacific Economic Council, and the Asia-Pacific Parliamentarian Forum.

Concurrently, Henry is an elected Member of Parliament for Singapore, representing Kebun Baru constituency since 2015. Henry serves as the Vice-Chair of the PAP’s senior wing. He is a member of the Public Accounts Committee for the Singapore Parliament. He also serves at two Government Parliamentary Committees (GPC): Defence and Foreign Affairs GPC; and National Development GPC. He previously served on the Finance, Trade and Industry GPC; as well as Community, Culture and Youth GPC.

Passionate about social work, Henry founded Hope Collective (www.wearehopecollective.com), a network of change makers focused on helping the needy, creating hope for those born with less, and bringing solace to the lonely.

He is also fond of Chinese culture and philosophy, and serves as the advisor to both the Nanyang Confucius Association and the Singapore Sicheng Calligraphy Society.

Henry loves reading, traveling, sailing, and hiking in the great outdoors.
